Wallet Accounts

SDB offers several types of accounts:

Current Account

For day-to-day money management and transactions

Multi-Currency Account

Supports multiple currencies with competitive exchange rates

Savings goals

Set aside part of your balance towards a goal. No interest is paid on balances.

Your bank details are issued in your own name through licensed financial partners: a euro account with an IBAN, a US dollar account with an account and routing number, and a British pound account with an account number and sort code. Your first account is free; each additional account carries the fee published in the schedule below.

How your balance is held

Money arriving on your bank details is converted on arrival into a stablecoin pegged to the same currency, and held in that form: your euro balance is backed by EURC, and your US dollar balance is backed by USDC. Both are stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the fiat currency and issued by a regulated issuer. The balance shown in your account stays denominated in its fiat currency (euros or dollars), and you withdraw it to your bank account in that same currency.

Note: incoming British pound transfers are converted on arrival into US dollars and backed by USDC, as there is today no stablecoin pegged to the pound. The exchange rate applied is shown for each transaction.
04
